About Us

Our journey began when a Navy man from Michigan met a very beautiful Florida girl in 2003. There was chemistry between us at first sight. We were married in August 2004. My wife was told by doctor after doctor that she could not have children. Our chemistry was so good together that we had four children. We have sons and a daughter in heaven (who shares her name with our bakery). Our daughter Shawna was our second child. Shawna was born sleeping (stillborn) on May 31, 2006 , she was full term. One way my wife handled losing Shawna was baking and naming the bakery after her so that her memory lives on. My wife always wonders why she is such a talented baker, I think it is because our daughter is in the kitchen with us while her brothers and us work. Our baby stays with us and I truly believe she loves people as much as we do.
